Design Overview & Tactical Role

The T-14 Armata stunned military observers when it was revealed in 2015 as the world's first true clean-sheet 4th-generation main battle tank. Its defining revolutionary feature is an entirely unmanned turret: all three crew members sit side-by-side inside an armored titanium safety capsule in the front hull, isolated completely from the ammunition carousel. It is ringed by Afghanit millimeter-wave radar APS and Malachit ERA.

Combat History & Battle Records

Developed by Uralvagonzavod as part of the unified Armata Universal Combat Platform, the T-14 was unveiled at the 2015 Victory Day Parade in Moscow. While its high production cost has limited mass serial rollout, its architecture represents the definitive blueprint for future automated armored vehicles.
